This is Professor Elemental performing “Fighting Trousers,” found on his 2010 album, The Indifference Engine.  Professor Elemental refers to his music as “chap hop,” which I guess is sort of like the steampunk version of nerdcore.  Sometimes it is best to enjoy music for the fun of it, and sometimes that means novelty hip hop.

I see no novelty in this. Why, had this song been released some one hundred and twenty years ago, I’m sure all the dapper fellows would have been singing along as they listened on their gramophones. To Professor Elemental, I say, “Good show!” and will be looking further into this gentleman’s music.
